Additionally, if you have more time available, you can extend your stay in the Serengeti to explore different regions of the park in more depth.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Transfer to Serengeti National Park, either by road or a combination of road and air. Enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation. Check-in at your camp in the Serengeti. Relax and enjoy dinner at the lodge, soaking in the atmosphere of the Serengeti.
Early morning game drive in the central Serengeti. Search for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros) and other wildlife. Visit the Serengeti Visitor Center to learn more about the park’s ecosystem and wildlife.
Enjoy the picnic lunch amid the African park, while viewing an array of wildlife. In the afternoon, continue the game drive exploring different areas of the central Serengeti. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning game drive in the western Serengeti. Look for large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and other migratory animals (depending on the time of year). Visit Grumeti River, known for its crocodiles and hippos.
Lunch at a picnic site or back at the lodge. Afternoon game drive along the Serengeti’s western corridor, with opportunities to see predators such as lions and cheetahs. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Early morning departure for the northern Serengeti. Book Now the Mara River region, famous for the dramatic river crossings during the Great Migration (if visiting during migration season). Continue game driving in the northern Serengeti, searching for wildlife in this remote and less-visited area.
Lunch at the lodge or a picnic site. Afternoon game drive, with chances to spot elusive species such as leopards and rhinos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning game drive (optional) for any last sightings. Breakfast at the lodge.
Check out and transfer to the nearest airstrip for your onward flight or begin your journey back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
