1 Transfer to Volcanoes Hiking

Early in the morning, as early as 4:30 a.m., meet your designated tour guide (French or English speaking, depending on your wish). Together, you will start the journey that
takes you through scenic countryside, offering glimpses of rural life and beautiful
landscapes along the way. Your knowledgeable guide will take you through Rwanda’s
general lifestyle, answering key questions you may have and sometimes stopping at
points of interest along the route.
You will join other hikers on a guided hike to Dian Fossey’s tomb. The hike typically
starts early in the morning, and you’ll be accompanied by experienced guides who are
knowledgeable about the area and its history. The hike to Dian Fossey’s tomb can vary
in difficulty depending on your fitness level and the weather conditions. Some parts of
the trail may be steep and muddy, so wearing sturdy hiking boots and bringing along
trekking sticks can be helpful.
Along the way to Dian Fossey’s tomb, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Volcanoes National Park, which is home to lush rainforests,
