This 10-day expedition combines the thrill of wildlife safaris in Tanzania’s renowned national parks with the relaxation and cultural exploration offered by the idyllic island of Zanzibar. It’s a journey that promises unforgettable experiences and lasting memories of Africa’s beauty and diversity.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Transfer to the hotel for a rejuvenating rest before you start your trip. You will go through the itinerary with your guide to confirm the activities and get a pre-tour briefing. It will be time to ask him any questions that you might have about Tanzania or the destinations that you will visit.
Immerse yourself in this less-traveled park to start your African expedition more extraordinarily. Tarangire National Park is a renowned national park in Tanzania, East Africa. It’s located in the Manyara Region and covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers (1,100 square miles). The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which flows through the park, providing a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season.
Tarangire is famous for its large population of elephants, often referred to as the “Elephant Playground.” Visitors can also spot a variety of other wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, various antelope species, and more. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 bird species recorded.
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your bush accommodation and drive to Serengeti National Park. It will be a moment to learn more about community life, interact with the locals, and taste local food on your way to the park. Do the evening game drive to familiarize yourself with the African bush.

Enjoy the picnic lunch amid the African park, while viewing an array of wildlife. In the afternoon, continue the game drive exploring different areas of the central Serengeti. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning departure for the northern Serengeti. Book Now the Mara River region, famous for the dramatic river crossings during the Great Migration (if visiting during migration season). Continue game driving in the northern Serengeti, searching for wildlife in this remote and less-visited area.
Lunch at the lodge or a picnic site. Afternoon game drive, with chances to spot elusive species such as leopards and rhinos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your accommodation, and drive to the nearest airstrip for the Zanzibar flight.
